Giving God Your Best

As the children of God we are called to be good stewards of all He has blessed us with.  Our time is a gift.  Our talents, both natural and spiritual are gifts from God which should be used to bring glory and honor to His name.  In 1 Corinthians 12, Paul endeavors to inform the Corinthians of the purpose and the diversity of the spiritual gifts they seem to weild so loosely.  The Corinthians were aware of their giftedness, but it seems as if pride and spiritual immaturity had caused the abuse of their gifts.  In many of our churches the abuse of spiritual gifts are just as rampant.  Not from pride, but from the same level of spiritual immaturity.  You see, a lack of exercising the spiritual gifts God has blessed us with is simply abuse in a different form.  Too many Christians are too comfortable simply to church.  If Christ is our example, and He came to serve, then shouldn't we.  In this sermon, each Christian is encouraged to rise up and exercise their giftedness, for the glory of God and edification of the body of Christ.  Listen and be blessed!
